Women’s swim retreat
6th - 13th March 2026
There are five private bedrooms and a dipper’s dormitory (all with private bathrooms) to choose from. All bedrooms are named after the terroir of the spirit known as Cognac.
March 2026’s women’s swim retreat is nestled in a rural French village in South West France. It has been chosen for its location with direct access to the Dronne river. The retreat accommodation is in the Charente- Maritime - across the river is the Dordogne.
What is included?
Accommodation in our private river-side retreat home for the week.
The accommodation will not be shared with others outside of the group to allow the dippers to fully relax. You will have full use of the facilities including river side access, and a plunge pool.
Breakfast, lunch and dinners
This will be a mixture of catered meals at the retreat house, picnics and meals at local eateries.
Transfers to and from Bordeaux Airport (or local train station).
There will be set pick up and drop off times in Bordeaux.
All swims and water experiences
This will be a mixture of river swims, lake swims, and a few surprise indoor locations too! This trip is not for those wanting to swim long distances, it’s all about the joy of a dip and enjoyment of the water.
All transport to and from Swims and day trips
You may choose to hire a car during your stay, but this is not required.
Cultural experiences
The aim of this swim retreat is to enjoy the water, whilst also sampling local culture and other experiences. The retreat will include experiences such as a specific yoga class for swimmers, a sound bath and more.

Bedrooms
The "Les Bons Bois" room, located on the ground floor of the house, has a direct view of the garden. Accessible for people with reduced mobility, it features a high-end king-size bed (160x200cm), a flat-screen TV, a bathroom with shower, toilet, and hairdryer, and free Wi-Fi.
The Grande Champagne suite, located on the first floor, offers a direct view of the Champagne mill. With a surface area of 27 m², it is equipped with a high-end king-size bed (180x200 cm), a flat-screen television, a bathroom with shower, toilet, hairdryer, and free Wi-Fi.
The "Les Fins Bois" room is located on the first floor of the house and has its own private staircase. It offers over 25 square meters of space.

The Petite Champagne room is located on the first floor.

The Les Borderies room is located in the center of the first floor of the house.
