A two bedroom rustic retreat in rural South West France, a short walk from the beautiful village of Aubeterre Sur Dronne. A great place to stay to escape when life is hectic. Take the opportunity to relax, recharge and refresh. Enjoy the long light evenings, sat on the patio areas, or simply get a rug and choose a spot within the large gardens. Treat yourself to a glass of local wine, and try a spot of star gazing in our amazing night skies.

The property has two private bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, and living room.

The cottage is nestled in a courtyard shared with various barns, within a four acre property. There is also another house within the land, at the end of the courtyard, where the owner lives.

Nous nous sommes concentrés sur la pratique du dessin d'arbres avec différents médiums, mais surtout, nous avons passé un excellent moment à discuter et à savourer une bonne tasse de thé.   • We are keen outdoor water swimmers and there is a great selection of swimming spots nearby.

  • We recommend absorbing the atmosphere in surrounding villages such as Aubeterre-Sur-Dronne which has been awarded one of the “Most Beautiful Villages of France"

    In Aubeterre, we recommend a visit to the Subterranean church of St.Jean, which is the largest subterranean church in Europe.

  • Our Rustic Retreat sleeps four adults. One bedroom has two single beds, the other one double bed. Each bedroom has it’s own bathroom.

  • In the village of Saint-Romain, you are also welcome to play tennis included in your stay. We can provide equipment.
